This project focused on producing a set of accurate As‑Built lighting layouts for a recently surveyed commercial space.
Working from marked-up drawings and on-site verification notes, DraftLine translated rough sketches and redlines into a clear, well-structured CAD package. The final deliverables included updated lighting layouts complete with circuit information.
Having accurate lighting layouts offers real-world value, supporting efficient maintenance, streamlined testing, and smoother future alterations.
This project further adds to DraftLine Engineering’s growing portfolio of detailed and dependable documentation services.

The brief was to update an existing single-line diagram (SLD) for a commercial/IT building, integrating revised reference information from redlined PDFs.
Using the original CAD file as a base, DraftLine carefully reworked the layout to present a clean and accurate A0 drawing. The main challenge was accommodating a large volume of information in a clear and legible format, a task that required careful planning, smart spacing, and a strong focus on presentation quality.
This project not only tested technical skills but also marked an important milestone as DraftLine Engineering’s first official commission.
